Symphonic Band

Our symphonic band consists of 50 students from grades 9-12. We normally play music between Grades 3-6 on a scale of 6. We can be seen performing at our annual Winter Concert in December, Spring Concert in February, Parade of Bands performance in April and our Aloha Concert in May. In addition to these performances, the Symphonic Band also performs as a pep band for football games and some basketball games, performs for graduation and performs concerts at local elementary schools. The Symphonic Band is also the foundation for our other two bands: the Marching Band and the Jazz Band.

In March of 2005, our Symphonic Band traveled to California to perform at Disneyland and to tour the USC campus . This was the first trip to the mainland that the band has taken in a very long time. In March of 2007, we traveled to Tokyo Japan, and in 2009 we traveled to New York and Washington D.C.

The Symphonic Band has received Excellent and Superior ratings from Parade of Bands Festivals.
