Jazz Band

Our jazz band is comprised of students from the symphonic band who want to perform jazz music on saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or rhythm section. We have had many students successfully transition to other instruments in order to play in the jazz band, so they both learned a different style of playing and learned a different instrument at the same time.

Our jazz band is more relaxed than our symphonic or marching bands. You even get to dress up in a weird way for the Aloha Concert! The uniform changes every year, depending on what your section wants, and on Mr. Fu's approval.
